Five people were injured in a head on collision between two cars at Republic Road and Bram Fischer Drive in Randburg this evening.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found four people lying on the pavement and road and one seated in one of the vehicles.
Upon assessment of the patients it was found that four sustained moderate injures and one sustained minor injuries.
All patients who sustained moderate injuries were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care. The patient who sustained minor injuries refused hospital treatment. It is believed that all patients were between their late 20’s and early 30’s.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
