A man and woman, both in their 50s, were killed this morning after their motorcycle collided with the roadside barrier on the N3 highway in Peacevale in KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 09h15 this morning and found the motorcycle leaning against the roadside barrier. The two bodies of the man and woman were found lying halfway down the embankment some distance away.
On assessment, paramedics found that the man and woman had sustained multiple fatal injuries. Unfortunately, nothing more could be done for the patients and they were declared dead on scene.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the motorcycle, causing them to slam into the roadside barrier.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
