Yesterday at about 17h17, Netcare911 paramedics responded to a shooting on Albertina Sisulu road in Florida, Roodepoort.
Reports indicate that there was an attempted robbery at Bosmont Café.
When Netcare911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene, we found that two people had already died due to the gunshot wounds they sustained.
One person was believed to be a suspect and the other a security guard.
Both men were declared dead by paramedics on the scene.
We also found that four people had sustained gunshot wounds, two men were found to be in a critical condition and another two sustained moderate injuries.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside other services to stabilise the wounded men on scene before transporting them to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
The two suspects who were in a critical condition were transported to a nearby hospital under heavy police guard.
Police are investigating the matter.
