13 Injured in taxi crash on Bayhead Road

Thirteen people have been injured after a taxi and a vehicle collided on Bayhead Road on Thursday evening around 6pm.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi and a bakkie had collided near Grunter Gully before veering off the roadway. A total of thirteen people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised by Rescue Care Paramedics before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
