This morning at 09:31 EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M06 and A03 were dispatched to reports of a serious motorbike collision on Rivonia Road and Kelvin Drive, in Morningside.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the biker lying in the middle of the road, having sustained serious injuries. The biker received Advanced Life Support care and was stabilised on-scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further urgent care.
The events leading up to the collision are unclear, and will be investigated by local authorities.
