Five people have sustained serious to minor injuries after a truck collided with three vehicle’s on the M6 near Zwavelpoort street in Olympus, Pretoria.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found that the driver of the one vehicle was in a critical condition, while four people sustained minor injuries.
The Netcare2 helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the critically injured man from the scene to a Pretoria hospital for further medical care.
The passenger of the light motor vehicle and the passenger from the truck both sustained minor injuries, they were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Two people refused hospital treatment including the truck driver.
