Early this morning, ER24 paramedics attended to a man who sustained severe injuries to the head.
Upon arrival at the scene, on Main Rd corner Witkoppen in Magaliessig, paramedics found the man believed to be about 30 years of age lying on the road. Upon assessment it was found that he was in a critical condition. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
