Several injured in taxi crash at the intersection of Milne and Meyer in Germiston

Last night just before 6pm EMER-G-MED paramedics responded to the scene of a taxi crash at the intersection of Milne and Meyer in Germiston – on Johannesburg’s east rand.

On arrival paramedics found that a taxi had collided with another vehicle while, allegedly, trying to escape from the police.

Multiple people were injured in the collision, sustaining minor to moderate injuries. One person required Advanced Life Support care and was transported to a nearby hospital by provincial services with RV5’s ALS paramedics on-board.

SAPS and EMPD were on-scene to investigate.
