Two men have been injured this morning after two bakkies collided on the N2 north-bound highway in Chatsworth, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found both vehicles in the right lane of the road. Traffic had begun to back-up due to the collision.
Local authorities closed off the lane while paramedics inspected the scene.
Two males, one driver and the other a passenger, were assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries in the collision.
Paramedics treated both patients and transported them to RK Khan Hospital for further assessment.
Local authorities will be investigating the cause of the collision.
