Vehicle found several metres down embankment – two injured, Northdale

ER24 paramedics transported two people to hospital after the vehicle they were in went about 20 to 40 metres down an embankment leaving them injured.

The incident occurred on Firwood Road in Northdale this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found the two occupants of the car, both male, on the side of the road. It is understood that community members helped the men up to the roadside.

Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that both of them sustained minor injuries.

They were treated and transported to the Northdale Hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
