Just after 12:20 this afternoon EMER-G-MED’s RV3, M01 and A11 responded to reports of a serious collision on Jan Smuts Avenue and Northwold, in Saxonwold.
On arrival paramedics found that two vehicles had collided head on, leaving one driver with moderate to serious injuries that required immediate Advanced Life Support intervention.
The patient was treated and stabilised on-scene before being transported to Netcare Milpark Hospital for further assessment.
The cause of the collision is unclear, and will be investigated by JMPD.
