Eastern Cape: Kwanobuhle – On Monday 4 July police were investigating a case of hijacking after two men hijacked a silver VW Polo Vivo in Ponana Tini, Kwanobuhle.
Armed with a firearm, one of the suspects accosted the owner of a vehicle in the driveway of a house in Kwanobuhle. The suspects demanded vehicle keys and later drove away with the vehicle.
Police recovered the stolen vehicle abandoned in Philemon Kona Street in Kwanobuhle. Police are now following up on leads and expect to make arrests soon.
