A man, believed to be in his 40s, was injured this morning when he was knocked over by a taxi on Klipfontein Road, under the M5 Bridge, in Rondebosch in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene after 09h00 this morning and found the man lying on the pavement surrounded by local authority members.
On assessment of the patient, paramedics found that the man had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patient and thereafter transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the taxi fortunately, did not sustain any injuries.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
