A 52-year-old man was injured this morning after his vehicle rolled multiple times off the R28 in Westonaria.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 02h00 and found the light motor vehicle in the veld some distance from the main road.
On inspection, paramedics found that three men and one man had been inside the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that only the driver had sustained moderate injuries. Fortunately, the other occupants escaped without injury.
The patient was treated for his injuries and was thereafter transported to Krugersdorp Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
