15 Injured in two taxi crash in Durban

Fifteen people have been injured after two taxis collided at the corner of Commercial Street and Grey Street just after 7am this morning.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene and found that two taxis had collided before one crashed through a building wall. Multiple patients were found lying around the two wrecked vehicles. More ambulances were dispatched to assist with the multiple casualty scene. Once all of the injured had been stabilised they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
