Two people were injured early this morning after a collision between a delivery van and light motor vehicle on the corners of standard and Conrad in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find both the light motor vehicle and delivery van parked on the side of the road. The canopy of the van was found perched on top of the light motor vehicle.
On inspection, paramedics found a woman in her 40s seated in her vehicle while the driver of the van, a man in his 30s, was found walking around on the scene.
Both patients were assessed and found to have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Both patients were treated and thereafter transported to Life Fourways and another private Hospital.
The cause of the collision will be investigated by local authorities.
