At 00h25 on Monday morning Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit responded to a collision along the N2 at Queen Nandi drive . Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will form part of the Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a car and a taxi collided, the wreckages and accident debris were spread over a large area. After the injured were examined medics found a pedestrian under the taxi, tragically he died before our arrival. Two people from the car sustained serious injuries while the driver from the taxi was detained by the South African Police.
