A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured this afternoon after a shooting incident at the corners of Bellavista and Rifle Range Road in Johannesburg South.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 15h30 and found three men lying on the the pavement surrounded by a number of local authorities.
On assessment, paramedics found that one man had sustained a gunshot wound to his neck, leaving him in a serious condition. The two other men fortunately, did not sustain any injuries.
Paramedics treated the patient and provided him with numerous advanced life support interventions. Once treated he was transported to Baragwanath Hospital for urgent treatment.
the details surrounding the shooting is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
