One person has been killed after two vehicles collided on the N2 North bound before Spaghetti junction around 16:30 on Friday.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on scene to find that a taxi and bakkie had collided on the busy highway. Paramedics assessed the driver of the taxi and found that unfortunately he had suffered fatal injuries before paramedics had arrived. There was nothing further they could do and the patient was declared deceased on the scene. One patient was stabilised on the scene before being transported by Rescue Care to hospital for the further care he required
At this stage the cause of the collision is unclear but SAPS are on scene and will be investigate further.
