Three injured after minibus rolls after losing wheel

Yesterday morning at approximately 07:30 EMER-G-MED’s RV5 and A10 responded to reports of a taxi rollover on the N17 between the R23 and Rondebult Road, east of Johannesburg.

On arrival paramedics found that a taxi had rolled off the highway – allegedly after it lost one of it’s wheels and lost control.

Three people were injured in the collision, with one patient requiring Advanced Life Support care.

Two patients with minor to moderate injuries were transported to a nearby hospital by A10, while the third patient was transported by another service with EMER-G-MED’s Advanced Life Support paramedic on-board.
