Two men were seriously injured this morning after their vehicle rolled off the Verena Road, roughly 30km outside of Witbank in Mpumalanga.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle lying a far distance from the main road.
On assessment, paramedics found a man in his 30s walking on the main road while a second man, also in his 30s, was found lying some distance away from the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed both men and found that one man had sustained numerous injuries, leaving him in a critical condition, while the second man was found in a serious condition.
Paramedics treated both men and provided them with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, both patients were transported to Witbank Provincial Hospital.
It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll some distance off the road.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
