Two women were knocked over by a car on Pietermaritz Street, Pietermaritzburg, earlier today.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found one woman lying on the road. Upon assessment it was found that she sustained serious injuries.
The second patient was found walking around on scene. She sustained minor injuries.
Both women, believed to be in their 20’s, were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
