Thirteen people have been injured one seriously so after a taxi accident on Wiggins Road in Cato Manor around 6:30pm on Sunday evening.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi had collided with another vehicle. Patients were found lying on the side walk around the taxi. More ambulances were called to assist with the multiple patients. Once all of the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
