A 15-year-old boy was injured this morning after his vehicle overturned on the Paardeberg Road in the Vaalpark area.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road.
On inspection, paramedics found the young patient seated on the sidewalk next to his vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained moderate injuries in this incident. The patient was treated for his injuries and thereafter transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further treatment.
It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
