Seven people were injured this morning after a taxi rolled on Douglas Road, in Douglasdale – north of Johannesburg.
EMER-G-MED’s RV3, M07, A01 and A03 arrived on the scene within minutes of receiving the emergency call, finding the taxi on the side of the road – lying on its roof.
Paramedics immediately set into action, assessing the injured. Two patients sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention. The other five sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated on the scene before being transported to various nearby medical facilities for definitive care.
