Bakkie rolls injuring seven on the N5 near Bethlehem

Seven people were injured this afternoon after a bakkie rolled on the N5 near Bethlehem in the Free State.

ER24 paramedics, along with various other services, arrived on the scene and found the bakkie lying on its roof in a maize field. Several people that had been on the back of the bakkie were found walking around on the scene.

On assessment, paramedics found that seven men and women had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

Paramedics from various services treated he patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals in Bethlehem for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
