Yesterday afternoon at approximately 16:25 EMER-G-MED’s M02 and RV5 responded to reports of a pedestrian vehicle collision on the N3 North between Leondale and Heidelberg, Vosloorus.
On arrival paramedics found that a pedestrian had sustained fatal injuries after being hit by a vehicle whilst crossing the highway. Paramedics could do nothing further and declared the pedestrian dead on arrival.
The scene was handed over to EMPD’s Accident Investigation Unit.
