Nineteen primary school on their way to school have been injured after the taxi they were in collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Candella Road and Westmeath Ave, Cato Manor Durban just before 7am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the taxi carrying children to school had collided with a vehicle. A total of nineteen children had sustained minor injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
