One person sustained serious injuries yesterday evening after a collision on the N3 South by PPC Cement, East of Johannesburg.
Just after 5pm EMER-G-MED’s RV5 and A10 were dispatched to the scene, arriving to find that two vehicles had been involved in a serious bumper bashing.
The driver of the car, which was rear-ended, sustained serious back and spinal injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention. Once stable, the patient was transported to a specialist trauma centre for further management.
At hospital, while cleaning their equipment, A10’s crew gave a group of children a tour of their ambulance.
