Two people have been seriously injured after the truck they were in crashed and overturned on the M13 Durban Bound before Rockdale offramp just after 9am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the truck on its side. Both driver and passenger had been ejected from the truck and had sustained serious injuries. Both patients were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
