Woman injured after being hit by a car, KwaZulu Natal

A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was injured this morning after she was hit by a light motor vehicle while she was crossing the Escomb Road in New Germany, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the woman lying face down in the middle of the road.

On assessment, paramedics found that the woman had sustained moderate injuries to her face and legs.

Paramedics treated the woman and thereafter transported her to RK Khan Hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the light motor vehicle was assessed and found to have escaped injury.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
