At 08:02 this morning EMER-G-MED paramedics were dispatched to reports of a taxi accident on Junction and Johann Rissik, Germiston.
On arrival paramedics found that a taxi had T-boned a truck, allegedly after the taxi skipped a red traffic light.
Multiple passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries.
One patient sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention. EMER-G-MED’s RV5 Advanced Life Support paramedic assisted another ambulance service, with the transportation of the seriously injured patient.
