A man is in a critical condition this morning after he allegedly experienced a medical emergency while driving, causing a collision on Main Road in Claremont in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedic, along with Metro Services, arrived on the scene and found the driver seated in his vehicle, found parked in the laft lane of the road.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he was in a critical condition, after he suffered an apparent medical emergency.
The man was treated and provided with several advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Rondebosch Medical Centre for urgent treatment.
Local authorities will be investigating this further.
