A man believed to be about 30 years of age died after being knocked over by a truck on the N1 south at Allandale last night.
ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the incident.
The man was found lying on the road. He sustained severe injuries to the head. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The occupants of the truck were uninjured.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities are on scene.
