Taxi and SUV collision leaving 11 people injured Hurlingham

Yesterday afternoon 11 people were injured after a taxi and an SUV collided on the corners of William Nicol and Sandton Drives, in Hurlingham.

EMER-G-MED’s RV6, A01, and A03 responded to the emergency call just after 2pm. On arrival, they found that the taxi had rolled after the collision.

The 11 passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were treated on the scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals for further care.

Fortunately, the occupants of the SUV were uninjured.

JMPD were on the scene to investigate the exact events leading up to the collision.
