Nine people have been injured this afternoon after a taxi lost control and collided with a car and a barrier on the M1 North after Marlboro Drive , in Woodmead.
Just after 4.30pm EMER-G-MED’s M07, A03, A06 and I01 responded to the scene.
They arrived to find that nine passengers from the taxi had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were treated at the scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals for further care.
Fortunately none of the car’s occupants were injured.
There are still some delays approaching the scene.
