A toddler has died and a man and a woman have both sustained serious injuries after a vehicle overturned on the R73 in Welkom, Free State.
The exact detail as to how the accident happened will form part of a SAPS investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside paramedics from the Provincial EMS on scene.
When paramedics arrived on scene, they found that the child had been ejected out of the vehicle on impact.
Sadly, after assessment, it was found that the toddler had already died.
The toddler was declared dead at the scene.
Paramedics also found the man and woman to be in a serious but stable condition.
They were both stabilized on scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
This accident happened on Sunday morning at about 11h15.
