A man was critically injured after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on the N3 between Market and Durban Roads in Pietermaritzburg this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the vehicle in the cetre medium of the road. The vehicle was laying on its roof.
The man, believed to be in his 20’s, was lying close to the vehicle with his arm pinned under the roof.
Paramedics and bystanders lifted the vehicle and moved the man.
Advanced life support interventions were initiated. The man was transported to the Greys Hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
