Bakkie rollover on Marlboro Drive, just off the N3, Marlboro

Eleven people were injured after a bakkie overturned on Marlboro Drive, just off the N3, in Marlboro – north of Johannesburg

At 14:42 EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M06, A03 and A06 responded to the emergency call. They arrived to find that a group of congregants, on their way go a church gathering in Kramerville, had been injured – after the bakkie that they were traveling in overturned.

The patients, most whom had been seated on the back of the bakkie, were found strewn across the area – some of which had been ejected from the rolling vehicle.

Paramedics immediately began assessing the injured – two patients were found to have sustained injuries that required Advanced Life Support interventions. The remaining nine – suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The patients were treated at the scene before being transported to a number of nearby hospitals.

JMPD were at the scene to investigate the exact cause of the crash.
