This morning just after 9am EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M06 and A06 responded to reports of a taxi rollover on Grosvenor Road over the N1 Highway, in Douglasdale.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi had lost control, collided with two vehicles and then overturned – leaving the occupants strewn across the area.
A total of 9 patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate – they were treated at the scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals.
The exact cause of the collision is unclear and will be investigated by JMPD.
