Transport Deputy Minister to intensify road safety awareness in KZN

KwaZulu-Natal – The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga will embark on Road Safety Education and Awareness activations in KwaZulu-Natal starting from Thursday, 15 December 2016 in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.

Ms Chikunga will interact with pedestrians, public transport users and motorists in the province.

The objective of the festive season road safety activations is to:

The vision of the activations is to make an everlasting impact on all road users by appealing to their conscience to obey road rules and become responsible road users.

The details of the Deputy Minister’s road safety activations in KwaZulu-Natal are as follows:

          1st Activation:

Venue: Emtshezi Taxi Rank, Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality in Escort, KwaZulu-Natal

 

2nd Activation:

Date: Thursday, 15 December 2016

Venue: Shell Ultra City in Escort, KwaZulu-Natal

Time: 14:00

 

3rd Activation: Law enforcement operation:

Date: Thursday, 15 December 2016

Venue: Mooiriver Toll Plaza, Escort in KwaZulu-Natal

Time: 15:00
