Two children and adult injured in Germiston collision

Two children and an adult sustained minor injuries after a serious collision on the corner of Main Reef and Stanley Roads, in Germiston – earlier this afternoon.

EMER-G-MED’s M02 and A12 arrived on the scene within minutes of receiving the emergency call, arriving to find that a car and a bakkie had collided head-on – leaving both vehicles seriously damaged.

The patients were assessed and treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby facility.

The driver of the bakkie also sustained minor injuries, but refused ambulance care.

The exact cause of the collision in unknown and will form part of a formal investigation.
