Limpopo: The police in Mahwelereng have arrested two suspects, aged 30 and 35, for armed robbery on Tuesday, 24 January 2017.
The arrests follow an incident where a victim was allegedly robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash outside ABSA bank in Mokopane.
The following items were confiscated during the arrest:
2 x 9mm pistols with 9 live rounds of ammunition.
A white BMW reported stolen at Mmakau.
A 9mm pistol with 8 live rounds of ammunition was found inside the BMW.
Two other suspects managed to evade arrest. The suspects will be charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of unlicensed firearms, ammunition and stolen vehicle. They will appear in court soon and investigations continue.
