Five people including a father and his two-year-old son have been injured after a head-on collision on Waterkant Road in Durban North this afternoon.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call just after 1pm to find the vehicles had collided head-on blocking the entire roadway.The vehicles were extensively damaged. A total of five patients including the little boy had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the accident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
