Pedestrian killed in collision on the N14 at the R114 in Muldersdrift

Last night at 20:36 Emer-G-Med’s M03 and M06 responded to reports of a pedestrian collision on the N14 at the R114 in Muldersdrift – West of Johannesburg.

On arrival it was found that a pedestrian had been struck by a SUV, leaving him with fatal injuries. The pedestrian was declared dead on the scene.

The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and did not require ambulance transportation.

The South African Police Service’s specialist Accident Investigation Unit were at the scene to investigate accordingly.

EMER-G-MED urges pedestrians to be extra vigilant when crossing road. It is also ILLEGAL for pedestrians to be on a national highway.
