Customers can now choose pre-fitted advanced vehicle tracking services
Mercedes-Benz retail-partner New Vaal Motor Group has selected Ctrack by Inseego as its sole provider for vehicle tracking solutions. The 36 months’ partnership will see Ctrack fit all new, used and demo vehicles at their branches located in Johannesburg South, Vereeniging and Bethlehem.
New Vaal Motor Group represents four highly recognised leading brand dealerships for vehicles, namely Mercedez-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. Rollout has already commenced, with more than 200 units to be fitted at the respective dealerships.
Customers will be able to subscribe to Ctrack’s vehicle tracking and stolen vehicle recovery services at the same time they are purchasing their vehicle. As the Ctrack unit is already fitted, the process is simple and customers have the comfort of knowing that their vehicle is being tracked from the moment they drive off New Vaal Motors’ floors. Of course, it also removes the hassle of organising a fitment later.
New Vaal Motor customers will also have the ability to monitor their vehicle and check up on journeys using Ctrack’s web-based tracking from their smart phone. With insurance companies looking favourably on these types of systems, customers who fit such devices usually receive discounts and/or lower excess rates when insuring their vehicle.
