Just before 10am this morning Emer-G-Med’s RV6, M08, A01 and A11 responded to reports of a taxi that rolled on the M1 North by the 1st Avenue on-ramp, in Houghton – north of Johannesburg.
It’s alleged that the taxi swerved to avoid a truck that cut in front of it, the driver lost control and the taxi overturned.
A total of eight passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were treated at the scene before being transported by Emer-G-Med and other services to various nearby facilities for further care.
JMPD were at the scene to investigate.
