Two men were injured on the N8 this afternoon after a motor vehicle lost control and crashed into a TLD.
After attempting to overtake the TLD, the motor vehicle lost control on the wet road and crashed.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, where the jaws of live had to be used to free one of the patients.
Both men, believed to be 30-40 years old, sustained injuries. One is in a critical condition and the other sustained a head and spinal injury.
The patients were transported to the Pelonomi Trauma Unit in Bloemfontein.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
