Western Cape: Through disruptive operations that have been executed this weekend between Friday afternoon 2017-03-04 until Sunday morning 2017-03-05, a total of 84 suspects were arrested in the Bluedowns area. Our members were highly visible, stopping and searching people, and managed to arrest 48 suspects in possession of drugs.
A total of 84 suspects were arrested for charges relating to murder, attempted murder, assault common, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, drunk driving, reckless and negligent driving, possession of dangerous weapons, malicious damage to property, housebreaking and theft, intimidation, house robbery, rape, sexual assault and possession of drugs.
Milnerton Custer Successes:
During operations by police from the Milnerton Cluster stations, 312 persons were arrested for various crimes. Arrests were made for murder, assault, assault GBH, possession and dealing in drugs, liquor-related crimes and domestic violence, among others.
Members of the public are urged to assist the South African Police Service by anonymously placing information into the suggestion boxes that are placed inside the Community Service Centres (charge offices).
