Three people were injured this afternoon, including a 5-year-old boy, when a bakkie overturned on the Indsutria Road in the Industrial area in Upington.
When Er24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a bakkie lying on its roof against a roadside fence. Two men and a young boy were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that both men had sustained minor injuries while the boy had sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Dr Harry Surtie Government Hospital for further treatment.
The exact cause of this incident is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
